We have met quite a few fellow loopers, some are on the trip of a life time and others are , like us still planning the trip. We are also spending a lot of time with friends and family this summer, getting a few camping trips in before we start our life on the water.

Canada Day : As usual this year we tied to the wall at the mouth of the Trent-Severn. George and the ladies from TJ FRIES will welcome you on this free wall as long as you purchase some thing to eat from their chip truck! I recommend the POUTINE ( a Canadian favourite) ....it can be a little rock- and- rolly especially if the wind is south/south-west...and if their is lots of boat traffic like there was n this Canada Day due to all the firework watchers and the Bass Fishing Tournament that was held on this day. There are no cleats so you will have to tie down to a telephone pole and a few logs. It is on the Starboard side just before entering the Trent-Severn. Enter with caution but there is tons of water ....many boats also anchor here in the little bay just before the bridge.
Canada day is also our grand daughter Avery's, birthday. At 5 years old she still firmly believes that all the fireworks are just for her!
