Gary and I purchased our first boat on Canada Day in 2002. We were walking along the waterfront at the Trent-Severn Waterway when we spotted a Fiberform Cuddy Cabin for sale and a few hours later we were the proud owners of our first boat, Mistelle. We enjoyed boating so much, we decided to go bigger the following year, so we purchased a 21 Foot Bayliner Ciera and christened her Upon Play'n.. Suffering from the dreaded “Footitis Disease” we invested in an even larger boat the year after and bought a 28 Foot Bayliner Contessa which we named Twetesam.
I don't remember exactly when we started dreaming about doing the Great American Loop but I think the seed was planted when Gary saw an episode of the Loop on Boats and Places. We called it our 10 year plan and Gary started looking for the right boat EVERY WHERE...and one day I got the call ...Gary had found our boat!
